God Given GPS
It is not overtating things when it is said, “We are living in the most unusual times ever in the world!”
Almost everyone is just looking for guidance and wisdom on which direction to chart life’s course. Yet, there are so many unknown answers to what every person on earth is facing.
The questions on the pandemic, on the vaccine, on the economy, on political and other leaders demands answers. Those answers are crucial to ones who desire to make the right steps.
There is good news for those who want directions and the right steps in times like this. God has given spiritual GPS to as many as those who will receive it.
God’s GPS starts with His word. In Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Notice in verse five the words, “lean not to thine own understanding.”
With a GPS, the user relies just on the directions spoken. Understanding the words only is required. This is the case for God’s GPS! Understanding God’s word is needed for direction. Verse six encourages you to acknowledge God and He will direct (directions) your path. God is a GPS!
Also, God’s GPS happens when you are led by the Holy Spirit. The Bible states in Romans 8:14, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” The Spirit of God is a GPS! God desires that His children follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. Trust the leading like you trust a GPS. It is shared in John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: ..” If anyone wants TRUE direction, it comes from the Spirit of truth. You will be led into all truth!
Finally, By God’s leading that written in Psalm 32:8, “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.” God said He will guide us with His eye. As you are blessed to make contact with God’s eye in the Spirit, you are experiencing His presence. God is walking with you. As a Shepherd walks with His sheep, God is walking with those who He is guiding with His eye.
May we in these end times be greatly led by God’s GPS. Encourage all to receive God’s GPS. Here is a great and logical question. Are leaders, especially spiritual or political, being led by God’s GPS? Of course, we all know the answers by the current state of things. If there are chaos and confusion, God is not leading it. God is not the author of confusion (I Cor. 14:33). May this world wake up and see the need for God’s GPS!
